Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Boulder is seeking an Environmental Team Member for a part-time role. You will maintain the store’s cleanliness and order, assist customers, and support daily operations including stocking, checkouts, and safety compliance.

You will handle trash disposal, dusting, mopping, and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas. You may assist with rewards enrollments and omni-channel processes while adhering to company SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall store look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery to deliver brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and dust, mop floors as specified.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place back in correct location.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and high-traffic zones.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs and restock as required.
• Assist with checkout processes and enroll customers in rewards programs and private label credit cards.
