Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a part-time Retail Team member at our Woodside, NY location. You will help customers, unload trucks, stock shelves, and handle checkout with accuracy while promoting our rewards programs and Omni channel services.

You must be able to stand long hours, lift/move heavy boxes, and work nights/weekends as needed. Benefits include employee discounts and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store including maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
