Job summary

Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a Nurse Aide (STNA) to support licensed staff by providing direct resident care under supervision, ensuring safety and comfort in accordance with applicable standards, Birchaven Village policy, and resident rights. You will perform duties including direct resident care, room preparation, and supply restocking.

Eligible applicants must be at least 16, hold Ohio STNA registry, and demonstrate strong communication and aging care knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Active Ohio STNA registry.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care as described for residents in the neighborhood.
• Basic knowledge of aging and associated issues.
• Ability to assess resident data and identify needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and prepare rooms as directed by nursing staff.
• Facilitate changes in resident condition or behavior by reporting to appropriate staff.
• Communicate needs for inventory and restock supplies to ensure daily care needs are met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate mission, vision, and values to promote resident satisfaction.
• Comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
