Nexplore is a national enrichment service provider with a mission to foster the joy of learning through 125+ STEAM, Life Skills, and Fitness solutions offered as after school, in-school, and summer programs. The Nexplore Instructor delivers high-quality, in-person instruction across STEM, Digital Tech, Art, and Life Skills, with training, lesson plans, and materials provided, for PreK-12 students.

This part-time role in Washington, DC requires punctuality, strong communication, and commitment to

Qualifications

AA degree or higher required or preferred.
2+ years teaching/instructing experience.
Experience working with children.
Educational or training experience.
Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality hands-on instruction to PreK-12 students across STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness.
Prepare for instruction using provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.
Arrive on time, teach per the provided schedule, and review materials beforehand.
Engage in professional communication with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s programs, adapting as needed.
