Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role as a Staffing Coordinator in our Greenville location. The schedule is 3 days a week, 12 noon to 5 pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in patients' homes, assist with daily living activities, and support the care team according to the Plan of Care. Safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in home setting.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals with consideration of dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and engage in client-appropriate activities.
• Light housekeeping and record-keeping as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow care plans.
