Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role in Greenville. The position runs three days a week, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in home care settings, assist with daily living activities, hygiene, transfers, and basic nursing tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records as required by the agency.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients (lifting, bending, standing).
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bath, shave, hair care, mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising health professionals.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Adhere to EVV app and time sheets as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting client independence within the care plan.
• Perform other duties per the care plan.
