Lone Star College in Conroe, TX is seeking a Part Time Assistant II, Recreational Sports to support students in the game room and fields, monitor IDs, and assist with intramural and club sports. You may also help with special Office of Sports and Recreation projects, including mascot duties.
Hours include evenings and weekends, outdoors in heat or cold. A high school diploma or GED is required, as is CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Under direct supervision, the Part Time Assistant II, Recreational Sports is primarily responsible for assisting students with their needs in the game room and sports fields areas; checking student IDs; providing support to students and sport club organizations. This person may also be asked to assist with special projects as assigned by the Office of Sports and Recreation, not limited to serving as the college mascot. Assist with running intramural and club sports, both on and off campus. Assist with Community Service Projects, as needed.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Hourly Pay Rate is $15.60.
