Job summary

Breese Stevens Field in Madison is seeking Stadium Ushers to join the guest services team. You will greet guests, guide them to seats, and assist with entrances while maintaining a positive attitude.

This is a part-time, outdoor role centered around event days and evenings. Responsibilities include screening tickets at gates, helping with parking and access to hospitality areas, and ensuring guests are treated with respect.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Effective communication with guests and staff.
• Comfortable working in outdoor, variable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to their seats with a smile.
• Become an expert of stadium layout, seating areas, and guest amenities.
• Escalate issues to Full-Time staff to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
• May be assigned to gates, using handheld scanners to screen admission tickets.
• May be assigned to parking areas to ensure only authorized guests park.
• Review guest tickets to monitor access to hospitality sections and provide wristbands.
• Treat all guests with respect.
• Stand for extended periods and move around the stadium as needed.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and fun work environment.
• Help maintain access point cleanliness and assist guests before, during, after events.
• Assist in verifying staff credentials for restricted areas.
• Assist guests by giving directions inside or outside the venue.
