Job summary

Washington Commanders is seeking a Part-Time Security Agent for Northwest Stadium. The role involves protecting employees and guests, patrolling the stadium and grounds, and controlling access with authorized credentials.

Training in security and safety will be provided to deter fire, theft, vandalism and other risks. The position requires high school completion, a valid Maryland driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs; ability to enter incidents and reports.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Lift/Move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a professional customer-service attitude.
• Excellent writing, telephone, and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance during work hours.
• Able to work in heat/cold and on feet for extended periods.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; essential employee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order on the property with professional customer service to guests, employees, and contractors.
• Monitor access points to ensure entry only for authorized individuals.
• Issue visitor badges and verify credentials for safety and security.
• Perform patrols, monitor alarms and cameras, and document safety violations.
• Log activities and investigations; prepare comprehensive reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with supervisors as needed.
• Maintain security records and ensure confidentiality of information.
• Monitor fire systems and security equipment; unlock/secure doors and gates as required.
