Trinity Health in Michigan is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment across speech, language, feeding, and cognitive domains. The clinician will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with ASHA standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure or CF eligibility, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA certification or CF-eligible status required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan or eligibility to obtain before hire.
• BLS or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and diagnoses functional abilities/disabilities in areas of speech, language, voice, cognition, feeding and swallowing, fluency, resonance, and auditory habilitation/rehabilitation.
• Establishes patient-centered treatment goals with patient, family, and care team; develops written treatment plans and administers treatment.
• Documents evaluation and treatment in compliance with department standards, ASHA code of ethics, and medical-legal regulations.
• Provides education to patients and families regarding results, plan of care, and home exercises; includes written instructions as needed.
• Provides culturally responsive care and language interpretation as needed.
