Central Maine Healthcare in Rumford, ME is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients with speech, language, cognition, swallowing and related disorders in the Speech and Hearing Department. This part-time role is in Rumford Hospital, with 8-hour daytime shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, an active state license, and ASHA CCC-SLP or SLP-CF consideration with supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Active state licensure to practice SLP in Maine required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA or SLP-CF considered with supervision.
• Minimum one year hospital experience.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and implement treatment for speech, language, cognition and swallowing disorders.
• Assist in developing and implementing new programs for department growth.
