Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join the department. You will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders as prescribed by a physician.

The role includes assisting in developing new and ongoing departmental programs. Qualifications include a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, an active state license, ASHA CCC-SLP or CF eligibility, at least one year of hospital experience,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
• Active license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of employment.
• CCC-SLP or SLP-CF eligibility (ASHA) is required or considered carefully for CFs.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers is required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan treatment for patients with speech, language, cognition, swallowing disorders as prescribed by a physician.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs for department initiatives.
