Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for RSU#23 in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. This is a 0.5 FTE, part-time role for the 2026-27 school year, serving students in both mainstream and special education settings. Licensed SLP and CHRC clearance are required.

Responsibilities include case management, conducting assessments, presenting results, and collaborating with staff and families to support student success within the district. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine SLP license is required.
• CHRC clearance is required.
• Experience with IEPs and school-based services preferred.
• Ability to conduct assessments and present results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in mainstream and special education settings.
• Conduct case management and write/maintain compliant IEPs; facilitate meetings.
• Assess need and administer appropriate evaluations; report results.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share best practices.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, administration and community leaders.
• Support a total communication approach, including AAC.
