Job summary

Good Samaritan Society, located in Rapid City, SD, seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech and swallowing disorders across post-acute, long-term care and home health settings.

Must hold state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; ASHA CCC or CFY in progress is preferred. BLS is required or to be completed within 60 days. This role offers competitive benefits and a supportive, family-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Requires ASHA CCC or CFY in progress.
• BLS for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administers speech and language evaluations and plans treatments for residents with various speech problems.
• Assesses clients with speech, language, cognitive or swallowing issues and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides speech and language services, monitors progress and ensures regulatory compliance.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students as determined by leadership.
