Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC, is seeking a Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans.

We support continuing education, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement across sister facilities. New grads welcome; CCC-SLP encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.
