Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC is seeking a compassionate part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain communication and swallowing function, and to support a team-focused environment.

You will evaluate and treat residents, develop individualized plans, document compliant records, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists and families. A Master's in SLP, current state license, and CCC-SLP preferred; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide exceptional resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate every milestone and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.
