Edgefield Post Acute is a well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Edgefield, SC. We are seeking a compassionate Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain communication skills and swallowing function while supporting a team that feels like family.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, creating personalized treatment plans, treating swallowing disorders, and documenting progress per regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathology license.
• CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!).
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide exceptional resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents as they achieve meaningful goals.
