Job summary

Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC is seeking a compassionate Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain communication skills and swallowing safety. Join a supportive team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting where every day brings meaningful impact.

You will assess, treat, and document progress, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and support residents as they reach meaningful goals.
