Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, SC is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain communication and swallowing skills. You will evaluate and treat, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families, ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state SLP license or eligible for licensure.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
