Edgefield Post Acute is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Edgefield, SC. The role involves evaluating and treating residents, developing personalized plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance communication and swallowing safety.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current state license as Speech-Language Pathologist required or in process.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to provide resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and support residents in achieving meaningful goals.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license
• CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!)
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus—but not required!
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others thrive.
