Job summary

Atlanta Technical College seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Speech (Part-Time) to teach General Education Communications and Public Speaking. The role is on the Main campus, South of downtown Atlanta, under the Arts and Sciences division.

Expectations include developing engaging lessons, assessing progress, and supporting student success. F urther, the position offers per-term appointments up to 29 hours per week, with duties spanning syllabus adherence, student advisement, and documentation

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in Communications from a regionally accredited college or university.
• OR a Master’s degree in a related field with at least eighteen graduate credit hours in Communication from a regionally accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Follows approved course syllabus.
• Advises and counsels students and maintains advisement records.
• Completes reports, records and invoices in a timely manner and maintains inventory of assigned properties.
• Maintains classrooms and labs in line with safety guidelines.
• Attend meetings and participate as required.
