Gwinnett Technical College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty - Speech/ Communication in the General Education Division. This part-time, non-benefited, FLSA-exempt role reports to the Program Director of Speech and supports lecture and lab delivery.

Minimum qualifications include a Doctorate or Master’s degree in the discipline or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours; credentialing per accrediting bodies is required for the assigned course.

Formación

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in discipline OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline.
• Minimum qualifications will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with accrediting bodies; faculty must be credentialed to satisfy accrediting bodies for the course assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and delivers lecture and/or lab course material.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for general core courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.
• Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
• Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately.
• Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts.

Educación
