Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Special Education Teacher to serve a close-knit K-12 student community near Arlington, TX. This contract position runs for the 2026-2027 school year, with 10-15 hours per week.

You will design and update IEPs, collaborate with parents and staff, and provide tailored instruction while fostering an inclusive classroom. Experience in a small school setting is a plus, and you’ll make a meaningful impact on student growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas SPED certification (TX SPED) required.
• Experience with K-12 students in a special education setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to design and implement IEPs.
• Previous experience in a small school environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored instruction to students with varying abilities across K-12 grades.
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with parents and staff.
• Track progress and adjust teaching strategies to address individual student needs.
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Advocate for students and encourage positive social and academic outcomes.
