Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector in Mansfield, OH. This role collects urine and oral fluid specimens, processes and ships them, and serves as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Ideal candidates have 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus 2+ years of customer service.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent lab information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required.
