Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in a medical setting supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer
• HIPAA/HiTrust/compliance awareness is essential
• Medical insurance/billing familiarity is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens from patients
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between clinics and laboratory
• Record patient info, orders, and lab details
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient info in the portal
• Maintain onsite collection supplies inventory
• Observe collection procedures as required
• Travel between facilities may be required
