Job summary

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, plus strong customer service skills and a valid driver's license. This position requires HIPAA/compliance awareness and ability to travel to multiple facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience acceptable in lieu of medical experience.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance awareness.
• Physical ability to sit, walk, stand and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns related to billing or ordering portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collections for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
