Job summary

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, plus customer service experience and a valid driver’s license. Training and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance standards are followed

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
