Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a customer-focused associate for its Center Store (Grocery) department in Goldsboro, NC. You will provide quality service, maintain product levels, and ensure shelves meet plan-o-grams while using ACIS and CAO tools to optimize stock and pricing.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Maintain merchandise levels and backroom inventory per standards.
• Follow plan-o-grams for shelf placements and stock levels.
• Ensure proper back stock, ordering, receiving and display per guidelines.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge when on duty.
• Complete CBT and training courses as assigned.
