Central Bucks School District is seeking a Special Education Assistant - Instructional for Tamanend Middle School. The role is part-time with no benefits, working up to 29.9 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 1:55 PM during the 2026/2027 school year.

Compensation is $20.84 per hour, with a $1.25 per hour surcharge if student toileting is required. Applicants should have at least two years of college coursework or an Associate Degree preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Patient and enjoy working with children.
• Able to prioritize tasks and support students with IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Support student IEP goals in special (LS) and regular education settings.
• Assist staff with classroom duties and student supervision.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques with students as needed; training provided.
