Job summary

Groesbeck ISD Multi-Campuses in Groesbeck, Texas is seeking a Special Education Homebound Teacher to serve students who are unable to attend campus. This part-time position offers 6 to 8 hours per week and requires a valid Texas teaching certificate and a bachelor's degree.

You will deliver individualized instruction, manage classroom behavior remotely or at home settings as appropriate, and collaborate with the Special Programs team to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience: At least one year of student teaching or an approved internship
