Job summary

Greeley-Evans School District 6 is seeking a part-time Special Education Assistant (Intensive Autism) for Shawsheen Elementary School. Position runs 182 days with a schedule of Monday/Wednesday from 9:45am to 12:00pm, reports to the School Principal.

Salary starts at $20.51/hour with benefits; additional internal credit may raise to $32.85/hour. Requirements include an AA degree or 48 semester hours or WorkKeys scores; CPI/CPR training is a plus.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 48 semester hours or passing scores on WorkKeys exam.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic programming and progress of individual students or small groups.
• Provide student-specific personal care and support.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and data collection; lift up to 50 lbs.
