Job summary

Aspire Titan Academy in Huntington Park, CA is seeking a part-time Instructional Aide. You will support students individually or in groups under direction of teachers and a school nurse, implementing IEPs and behavior plans as needed.

You will track progress, adapt materials, and collaborate with a diverse IEP team to help students access a high-quality education while upholding Aspire’s values and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and different learning styles.
• Familiarity with students with extensive needs.
• Ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Willingness to reflect and improve practice.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide services, supports and interventions to students under supervision of the Special Education teacher.
• Implement IEPs with fidelity, including 1:1 support and health-related needs under nurse supervision.
• Monitor student progress and input data for IEP goals.
• Collaborate with IEP team members to support behavior plans and student independence.
• Create instructional materials adjusted to individual student needs.
