Job summary

Aspire Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students with IEPs in a special education setting. You will provide 1:1 and small-group assistance under supervision, track progress, adapt materials, and collaborate with teachers to meet individualized goals.

The role emphasizes fidelity to IEPs, behavior supports, and professional conduct within a dynamic school environment serving diverse urban communities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 48 college units or Paraprofessional Test completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in special education settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and interventions to students under supervision of teachers.
• Implement IEPs with fidelity and assist with health-related needs as needed.
• Progress monitor and document student data aligned to IEP goals.
• Collaborate with IEP team members to support student outcomes.
• Create and modify instructional materials for individualized students.
• Support behavior intervention plans and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with mobility, routines and daily living activities as required.
