We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our LPS Family! This professional will be responsible for providing individual and/or small group instruction and implementing strategies to students receiving special education support under the supervision of licensed staff within the school environment (e.g. Classroom, Center-Based Program, Cafeteria, Playground, Community, etc.). The ideal candidate is strong in making independent decisions within appropriate parameters; implementing team designed behavior intervention plans; monitoring and supporting students during school activities; preparing and modifying instructional materials; collecting data for IEP goals and behavior plans; monitoring and providing feedback on student progress; maintaining student confidentiality and adapting to changes in responsibilities and schedules.
Duties may include personal care, feeding, safety and supervision, medically delegated services, providing instruction and academic support.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred; must be a strong team player with ability to work independently.
