Job summary

Littleton Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional at Heritage High School for 20 hours per week. This part-time position supports students with disabilities under licensed staff supervision across various school settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Associates degree preferred
• One year experience with students with disabilities preferred
• Experience working in Special Education settings preferred
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction to students receiving special education support under supervision of licensed staff
• Implement strategies and behavior intervention plans as part of a team
• Monitor and support student progress, collect data for IEP goals and behavior plans
• Prepare and modify instructional materials; maintain student confidentiality
• Assist with activities across classrooms, center-based programs, cafeteria, playground, and community sites
