Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct Spanish instructor to teach courses on a part-time, in-person basis. The candidate will prepare syllabi, maintain attendance and grades, and be available to students outside scheduled class time.

Qualified applicants may come through multiple routes, including advanced degrees in Spanish or related fields, with emphasis on teaching experience and technology-enabled instruction.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree as specified in one of the routes.
• Experience teaching Spanish or related area is required for some routes.
• Ability to use learning tech for instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Meet all scheduled classes for contracted course(s).
• Prepare syllabus aligned with course and division standards.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per policy.
• Be available to students outside class time for assistance.
• Notify chair promptly during emergencies or absences.
