Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks adjunct instructors to deliver high quality instruction in assigned courses, using current technologies such as Canvas and PowerPoint. Responsibilities include preparing syllabi, maintaining attendance and grading records, and supporting students outside class time when needed.

This is a temporary, part‑time posting kept open to build a pool of qualified candidates for future openings.

Qualifications

• Earned master's or higher degree in speech or communication, or a master's with 18 graduate credits in related fields.
• Adheres to adjunct handbook policies and timely submission of information.
• Available to travel to teach in Frankfort and Crawfordsville when needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
• Provide course syllabus and follow required content.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Use Canvas/PowerPoint and other current technologies in instruction.
