Job summary
Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach English courses on a part-time, per-semester basis. Responsibilities include creating syllabi, delivering engaging instruction, and maintaining attendance and grades.

Qualifications
- Earned master’s or higher degree in English from a regionally accredited institution.
- Master’s in any field with 18 graduate hours in English, linguistics, or writing-related courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach and lead all scheduled classes in assigned courses.
- Provide a syllabus appropriate to courses and follow required content.
- Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
- Be available to students outside class time to answer questions or provide assistance.
- Notify department chair in case of emergencies and coordinate with program coordinator as needed.
- Promote diversity and inclusive teaching within all activities.
