ReNEW Schools seeks a part-time Spanish Immersion Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to teach Grade 7-8 students in Spanish Language Arts and Latin American Studies. The position is 0.2 FTE with prorated duties and calendar considerations.

The ideal candidate holds or is eligible for a Minnesota PELSB license in Spanish or Social Studies and will bring experience in middle school instruction, fostering bilingual learning and cultural awareness within the Spanish language curriculum.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area (Spanish or Social Studies)
• Experience teaching Grades 7-8 or similar age group
• Ability to teach Spanish Language Arts/Latin American Studies in Spanish

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish Language Arts and Latin American Studies to Grade 7-8 students
• Deliver instruction in Spanish during class time
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and assessment of student progress
