Job summary

Better Tomorrows is seeking a part-time Social Services Coordinator to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently and with dignity at our Upper Darby housing sites.

You will coordinate programs across Health, Wellness, Financial Literacy, and Social Engagement, provide basic case management, and work with community partners to ensure access to services. The role requires strong communication and independence, with 24 hours/week and $22–$24/hr.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ work experience in Social Services or related field
• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Knowledge of ETO or similar database preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate or coordinate programs and social services for senior citizens and people with disabilities
• Provide health and wellness programs and other educational programs
• Assist with case management to enable aging in place
• Organize social engagement events and plan curricula
• Develop community partnerships and volunteer supports
• Maintain data systems to track progress and attendance
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars for residents
• Support residents with lease compliance and customer service
• Follow program procedures and assist with budgeting
