Allied Universal is hiring a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Investigator in Minnesota to evaluate insurance claims for fraud indicators. The role involves field work with flexibility and requires a valid Private Investigator license where work is completed.

Responsibilities include independently investigating fraudulent claims across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability, plus thorough documentation and reporting to clients and the SIU Supervisor.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent law enforcement experience.
• Valid Private Investigator license as required by the state of work.
• 5+ years of experience conducting complex insurance investigations.

Aufgaben

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across multiple coverages.
• Gather information through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with law enforcement and state departments of Insurance.
• Maintain detailed documentation for investigations, reviews, audits, and projects.
• Produce professional reports, memos, and letters that are clear and accurate.
• Run database checks and verify results accuracy.
• Develop strategic plans to achieve assignment objectives with clients and SIU Supervisor.
