Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an SIU Investigator to independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across various coverages, including workers’ compensation and general liability. You will gather information through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with clients, case managers, and law enforcement.

The role requires 5+ years of complex insurance investigations, knowledge of anti-fraud laws, and the ability to work irregular hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent law enforcement experience.
• Private Investigator license as required by state where work is performed.
• Minimum 5 years in complex insurance investigations or adjusting complex claims.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across multiple coverages.
• Gather information through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with clients, case managers, law enforcement and regulators.
• Maintain detailed documentation for investigations, reviews, audits and related tasks.
• Produce professional reports, memos and letters with clarity and accuracy.
• Develop strategic plans to meet assignment objectives and communicate with clients.
