Job summary

Monmouth University seeks qualified adjunct simulation instructors to teach on a per diem basis at the Linda Grunin Simulation Lab and Learning Center in West Long Branch, NJ. This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position with 8-16 hours per week.

The role reports to the Director of Simulation and involves implementing simulation learning across programs, coordinating with faculty and clinical partners, and maintaining lab technology and supplies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current NJ license or eligibility; license within 30 days if applicable.
• Coaching and team-building skills to foster working relationships.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
• Excellent interpersonal relationships to support student and program success.
• Experience with technology and/or computer hardware or software; ability to learn new tech quickly.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in simulation education and compliance with relevant rules and policies.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to enhance student success in meeting outcomes.
• Set up, participate in, and debrief scheduled simulation-based experiences.
• Lead simulation-based learning experiences.
• Inventory and maintain technology equipment and supplies; track depreciation and security.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
• Support faculty to deliver simulation experiences that align with the curriculum.
