Job summary

Monmouth University seeks an Adjunct, Nursing Lab to teach and supervise undergraduate nursing students in a hands-on skills lab on campus. The role involves facilitating simulations, demonstrations, and return demonstrations to assess competency.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN or higher and NJ nursing license; weekend/evening scheduling and on-campus presence are required. Compensation reflects hourly adjunct pay. Department: Nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
• Current New Jersey State License in Nursing
• Coaching and team-building skills
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Flexibility with schedule including weekends/evenings
• Experience with technology and/or computer hardware or software

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and supervision to undergraduate nursing students to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Evaluate student clinical performance and provide feedback to students and course faculty.
• Collaborate with Lab Director and course faculty to meet course and student learning outcomes.
• Assist with simulations, tutoring, remediation, medication calculation, and nursing care plan.
