Job summary

Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ seeks qualified adjunct simulation instructors to teach on a per diem basis (8-16 hours/week) at the Linda Grunin Simulation Lab and Learning Center as part of the Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position. Reporting to the Director of Simulation, the adjunct will implement simulation learning activities across academic programs, lead experiences, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or a healthcare-related field.
• NJ State license or eligibility with license within 30 days, if applicable.
• Coaching and team-building skills to foster supportive working relationships.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
• Strong interpersonal skills to promote student and program success.
• Experience with technology or computer hardware/software and learning new tech.
• Flexibility with work schedule, including some weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in simulation education and adhere to relevant rules and policies.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to support student outcomes.
• Set up, participate in, and break down scheduled simulation experiences.
• Lead simulation-based learning experiences for students.
• Inventory and maintain equipment and supplies, tracking depreciation and security.
• Perform other job-related duties as required and support faculty.
