Job summary

Monmouth University, located in West Long Branch, NJ, seeks an Adjunct Professor of Software Engineering in the Computer Science/Software Engineering department. This is a part-time, on-campus position with in-person teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities include teaching 3-6 credits per semester, developing lectures and assessments, meeting with students, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. A master's degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related field is required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3-6 credits during the semester.
• Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions and assignments according to the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for student engagement and success.
• Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate learning outcomes and provide grades timely.
• Provide timely feedback and guidance to students.
