Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking qualified interpreters to provide high quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers under supervision of the Communication Center Manager.

Interpreters must be fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English, adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct, pass a skills assessment, and complete a 40-hour New Hire Training. Travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English are required.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.
• As applicable, state licensure or credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and respect.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies; demonstrate adaptability to new tech.
• Travel to client sites as needed and work in a fast-paced environment.
