Job summary

Havertys Furniture in Anniston, AL is seeking a part-time Display Delivery Assistant. This role is scheduled for 20–24 hours per week and pays $17.00 per hour.

You will help set up merchandise in showrooms, assist with deliveries to customers’ homes, and support floor moves and lighting with the Display Coordinator. The position includes comprehensive training, flexible pay options, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to assist on delivery truck.
• Knowledge of safety protocols.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Keep showroom merchandise on the floor and in working order.
• Assist with moving and arranging showroom displays.
• Support deliveries to customers’ homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it inside customers’ homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with floor moves and lighting.”
• Place POP material and signs, assist customers with loading items into vehicles.
• Maintain a clean showroom and orderly stockroom; ensure exits are unobstructed.
• Help maintain grounds and overall showroom upkeep.
