Famous Footwear in New Orleans is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and delivering a memorable in-store experience. You’ll create a welcoming environment, help customers find the right fits, and share product knowledge to build loyalty to our brands and to Famous Footwear.

You’ll handle daily tasks, engage customers with care, work as part of a team, and strive to hit sales goals. This role requires flexibility, a positive attitude, and a passion for fashion and footwear.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store tasks: pricing, shipments, fulfillment, and inventory.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and ensure top-notch experiences.
• Drive sales by reviewing performance and communicating with the team.

• Recommend shoes to customers to ensure the right fit.
