Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Associate to create an engaging in-store experience and help customers find the perfect footwear. You will contribute to a welcoming environment, staying informed on trends and sharing knowledge with customers, while celebrating team successes.

You will support store operations, assist with pricing, shipments, and inventory, and drive sales with urgency to meet goals. Expect a positive, inclusive culture with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Positive communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are dialed in.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and easy access to all styles.
• Provide stellar customer engagement to create memorable experiences.
• Review store performance and help drive sales with urgency to meet goals.
• Uphold integrity and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Support training and development of teammates when needed.
• Assist customers in finding perfect fit and style to deliver the Famous Feeling.
